Former manager of England's national football team, Sven Goran-Eriksson's phone was hacked repeatedly by the now-defunct British tabloid News of the World, according to a jury.
It is alleged that Eriksson and a former Football Association (FA) employee Faria Alam, with whom the former England boss was in a relationship, were monitored by a private investigator between 2002 and 2006.
According to the BBC, the jury was shown emails to the private investigator related to the hacking, and then details of calls from the News of the World and his phones, adding that the hacking resulted in numerous stories, including Eriksson's affair with Alam.
The report however, mentioned that former News of the World editor Andy Coulson and another former editor Rebekah Brooks have denied the conspiracy to hack phones.
