Three witnesses recorded their respective statements before judicial magistrate First Class Ms. Sarika Faldessai, at a court at Panaji (Panjim) in Goa in connection with the Tarun Tejpal sexual assault case on Friday.
Ishan Tankha, G. Vishnu and Shougat Dasgupta-all employees of the Tehelka weekly news magazine, who have resigned since the incident, were the people in whom the victim confided soon after she was allegedly sexually assaulted by Tejpal in an elevator of a five-star hotel in Goa.
Shoma Chaudhury, the recently resigned managing editor of the weekly, is likely to be recorded on Saturday.
