At least three officers were killed and one Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) was injured after the Indian Army's Cheetah Chopper crashed in West Bengal's Sukna district on Wednesday.

Both pilots sustained critical injuries in the accident, which took place at around 10:30 a.m.

It was a routine mission operating from Sukna and the crash took place when the chopper was about to land.

The crash site is inside the Sukna military base, near the helipad.

On a similar note, three army officers were killed after their Cheetah helicopter crashed in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, earlier on October 1.
