TMC MLA convicted for stealing railway property
Raniganj Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLA Sohrab Ali was convicted for two years on Tuesday for stealing railway iron bars used for constructing the railway tracks.
The Asansol court also fined Ali for Rs. 5,000.
However, Ali got bail after paying an amount of Rs.10,000. He said he will file an appeal before a higher court.
