Passengers aboard a Turkish Airlines plane had a narrow escape, when the aircraft skidded off the runway while landing at the Tribuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal, on Weednesday.
Local media reported that all 227 passengers and 11 crew members onboard Flight TK726 were safe.
However, two people were treated for minor injuries.
The Airbus A330 was enroute to Kathmandu from Istanbul.
The incident occurred around 7.45 a.m. local time.
The air traffic controller was quoted, as saying that the aircraft missed the runway's central alignment and skid on to grassy land.
