Veteran Australian wicketkeeper Brad Haddin is reportedly expected to make a return to the national one-day team for next month's tour of India, which will include seven ODIs.
Although Haddin was replaced six months ago by Matthew Wade as the preferred gloveman in each format, he, however, provided valuable leadership and experience during the recent England tour as compared to Wade's struggling form with the bat.
The report mentioned that Haddin, who was brought back into the Test side for the Ashes to serve as Michael Clarke's vice-captain, broke former keeper Rod Marsh's 30-year-old record for the most dismissals in a series and finished the Ashes series with an average of 22.88.
Expressing a desire to play in the 2015 World Cup in Australia, Haddin had said that he believes that he still has a lot of cricket left in him to carry him to the 2015 World Cup, adding that although it is an honour to be the vice-captain, he still needs to perform and keep on challenging himself to get better.
