Vyapam scam: Only option left is to approach SC, says Digvijay Singh

On Sunday, the Congress leader had alleged that Madhya Pradesh CM Chouhan was still trying to cover up the Vyapam scam

Congress leader Digvijay Singh on Monday said the only option left to get to the bottom of the Vyapam scam case is to approach the Supreme Court.

"It's a very serious issue that one after another, people connected to the Vyapam Scam are dying under mysterious circumstances. We have already lost faith in the Madhya Pradesh High Court. The only option left is to approach the Supreme Court," said Singh.

On Sunday, the Congress leader had alleged that Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was still trying to cover up the Vyapam scam.

As per reports, 42 people, including the accused and the witnesses in this case have died.

The Vyapam Scam involved the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board, which holds exams for positions like medical officers, constables, teachers and auditors for government departments. Candidates allegedly bribed government officials to ensure that they made it to the list of those who cleared the test.
