Flipper, clicker or switcher are few of the names that Brits have given to remote control.
The shopping site NetVoucherCodes.co.uk asked people what they called that device they use to change channels on their TV, the Daily Express reported.
One of the most popular names that Brits have given to remote is flipper.
Another favourite is do-dar, with clicker reaching 4th position; switcher is another name that Brits have concocted for remote.
Whatjamacallit and thingymajiggy are one of the oddest names that are in the circulation among the British for remote.
The other odd names that are also on the list are hopper, stick, doofangle and zapper.
