Marvel's upcoming film 'Doctor Strange' will most probably come without an origin story, it has been revealed.

Badass Digest's Devin Faraci recently discussed the movie, and said that the studio was no longer following their completed script and would show Doctor Strange as already a Sorcerer Supreme, Metro.co.uk reported.

Faraci added that it was Marvel's "new thing" to no longer have origin stories.

The Scott Derrickson directed film, which is rumoured to have Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hardy in the cast, has been set for a 2016 release.
