West Indies has reportedly named an unchanged Test squad for their cricket tour of New Zealand, starting next week, despite their twin defeats in India.

Captain Darren Sammy, who scored 25 runs over four innings and bowled 21 wicket-less overs in the Indian series, will continue to lead the side while star batsman Chris Gayle will play his 100th test in the three-match-series opener in Dunedin on December 3.

According to Stuff.co.nz, India won by an innings and 51 runs in Kolkata and an innings and 126 runs in Mumbai for Sachin Tendulkar's farewell Test.

West Indies spinners Shane Shillingford and Marlon Samuels will both tour despite being under a cloud after they were reported for suspect illegal bowling actions in India, the report saying that the both are required to pass an independent analysis of their actions within 21 days after being reported by match officials at the weekend.

Shillingford was the only bowler who had success in the India tests, taking 11 wickets while none of his team-mates took more than two wickets.

Sqaud: Sammy (c), Tino Best, Darren Bravo, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Sheldon Cottrell, Narsingh Deonarine, Kirk Edwards, Shannon Gabriel, Gayle, Veersammy Permaul, Kieron Powell, Denesh Ramdin, Samuels, Shillingford, Chadwick Walton.
