We reported earlier that Tata is eyeing the international markets to expand its business and now the company has started testing the 2014 Tata Vista facelift (codenamed Falcon 4) in Italy. The same model will also be unveiled at the next year's Indian Auto Expo.

Quattro Route's Alberto Damiano managed to click the vehicle during its test rounds on the roads of Turin, Italy. The spotted vehicle was fully camouflaged, though the taillights are uncovered and looks like dummy units. It will feature the new taillights and the registration plate enclosure is now placed on the bootlid.

Based on the same platform as the existing car, the vehicle is likely to be designed at the company's European design centre. The front fascia of the car seems to be inspired from the Manza hybrid, that was showcased at the last year's Auto Expo. It is expected to get a new set of headlights and redesigned front bumper with triangular airdams.

The new model is expected to retain the same engine configuration. The diesel model will carryover the current 1.3-litre Quadrajet aka Multijet engine that churns out a maximum power outputs of 74bhp and 88bhp. The petrol model will feature the same 1.2-litre mill producing 64bhp. The outgoing model also has the 1.4-litre TDI engine that produces 70bhp, however this engine is of BS3 compliant.
