Audi’s much-awaited car, the facelifted A6, has been launched at a price tag of Rs. 49.50 lacs, ex-showroom Delhi. The vehicle was officially revealed at 2014 Paris Motor Show in October 2014. It is coming with the changes on the insides and on the exterior, but no mechanical upgrades. The refreshed A6 will be taking on the competition that comprise of BMW 5-Series, Mercedes-Benz E-Class and Jaguar XF. Price wise, the A6 is little costlier than the outgone car.

Speaking of the changes, the 2015 A6 gets newly carved bumpers and new single-frame grille. The saloon gets Matrix LED headlights along with restyled LED taillamps. The side profile is identical except for the new set of alloys. On the inside, it receives new upholstery and appliques along with the updated Audi’s MMi infotainment system.
Internationally, A6 facelift is powered by updated TFSI and TDi engines, in India, Audi is sticking with the current powertrains like they did with the Q3 facelift. It continues to offer the 2.0-liter TFSI petrol along with the 2.0-liter TDI diesel. The 2.0-liter 35 TFSI petrol generates 177 bhp in a range of 4000-6000 rpm with 320 Nm of max torque in-between 1500-3900 rpm. While, the 2.0-liter 35 TDI musters 174 bhp @ 3750-4200 rpm and 380 Nm of torque that comes in-between 1750-2500 rpm. Both the engines are mated to the Multitronic CVT transmission in the front-wheel-drive layout.
