Adani Power lost 2.29% to Rs 27.75 at 15:24 IST on BSE after the company reported a net loss of Rs 417.58 crore in Q1 June 2015, higher than net loss of Rs 303.29 crore in Q1 June 2014.
The Q1 result was announced during market hours today, 10 August 2015.
Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was down 145.11 points or 0.51% at 28,091.28.
On BSE, so far 18.73 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 13.47 lakh shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 28.95 and low of Rs 27.45 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record low of Rs 26.35 on 29 July 2015. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 60 on 5 March 2015.
The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till 7 August 2015, sliding 7.34% compared with Sensex's 0.23% rise. The scrip had also underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 29.88% as against Sensex's 6.16% rise.
The large-cap company has equity capital of Rs 2935.84 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.
Adani Power's total income from operations (net) rose 13.18% to Rs 5914.13 crore in Q1 June 2015 over Q1 June 2014.
