CEAT consolidated net profit rises 11.48% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 0.50% to Rs 1450.66 crore

Net profit of CEAT rose 11.48% to Rs 104.69 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 93.91 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 0.50% to Rs 1450.66 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1457.96 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 40.77% to Rs 446.49 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 317.18 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 0.42% to Rs 5680.94 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 5704.77 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
