Container Corporation Of India standalone net profit declines 12.53% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 2.13% to Rs 1640.59 crore

Net profit of Container Corporation Of India declined 12.53% to Rs 293.64 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 335.71 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 2.13% to Rs 1640.59 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 1606.33 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 22.26% to Rs 1049.04 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 858.02 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 10.01% to Rs 6167.12 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 5606.13 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
