Hero MotoCorp standalone net profit rises 70.85% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 10.31% to Rs 7385.23 crore

Net profit of Hero MotoCorp rose 70.85% to Rs 814.16 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 476.53 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 10.31% to Rs 7385.23 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 6695.19 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 31.30% to Rs 3132.37 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2385.64 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 2.96% to Rs 28160.48 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 27350.60 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
