Nifty April 2013 futures fall below 5600

Nifty April 2013 futures were at 5595, at a premium of 20.25 points over spot closing of 5574.75. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment surged to Rs 148426.46 crore from Rs 109987.47 crore on Wednesday, 3 April 2013.

State Bank of India (SBI) April 2013 futures were at 2076.90, at a premium over spot closing of 2071.60.

Infosys April 2013 futures were at 2897.80, at a premium over spot closing of 2880.

Reliance Capital April 2013 futures were at 312.20, at a premium over spot closing of 310.

In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty shed 98.15 points or 1.73% to settle at 5,574.75, its lowest closing level since 20 November 2012.

The April 2013 derivatives contracts expire on 25 April 2013.
