Turnover jumps
Nifty April 2015 futures were at 8729, a premium of 68.70 points over spot closing of 8660.30. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment increased to Rs 2.45 lakh crore from Rs 1.53 lakh crore registered during previous trading session on Monday, 6 April 2015.
Wockhardt April 2015 futures were at 2008.95, at a premium over spot closing of 1992.80.
SKS Microfinance April 2015 futures were at 516.95, at a premium over spot closing of 513.60.
Housing Development and Infrastructure (HDIL) April 2015 futures were at 128.20, at a premium over spot closing of 127.85.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty rose 0.40 points to settle at 8,660.30, its highest closing level since 18 March 2015.
The April 2015 derivatives contracts expire on 30 April 2015.
