Turnover on NSE's F&O segment slips
The Nifty April 2018 futures traded at 10545.70, a premium of 17.35 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 10528.35 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment fell to Rs 5.16 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 5.78 lakh crore registered in the previous session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 47.75 points or 0.46% to settle at 10,528.35.
Infosys, Dewan Housing Finance Corporation, Tata Motors, TCS and Escorts were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Infosys April 2018 futures traded at 1131.65, at a discount from spot closing of 1134.50. Dewan Housing Finance Corporation April 2018 futures traded at 572, at a premium over spot closing of 570.75.
Tata Motors April 2018 futures traded at 341.20, at a premium over spot closing of 340. TCS April 2018 futures traded at 3186, at a premium over spot closing of 3185.05. Escorts April 2018 futures traded at 973.75, at a premium over spot closing of 973.05.
The April 2018 F&O contracts expire on 26 April 2018.
