Turnover in F&O segment rises
The Nifty December 2018 futures traded at 10,902.15, a premium of 32.65 points from the Nifty's closing of 10,869.50 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment was reported at Rs 4.70 lakh crore, compared with Rs 4.25 lakh crore reported in the previous trading session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index fell 14.25 points or 0.13% to settle at 10,869.50
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, ICICI Bank and Indiabulls Housing Finance were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries December 2018 futures traded at 445.20, compared with spot closing price of 443. ICICI Bank December 2018 futures traded at 359.45, compared with spot closing price of 357.75. Indiabulls Housing Finance December 2018 futures traded at 802.80, compared with spot closing price of 802.55.
The December 2018 F&O contracts expire on 27 December 2018.
