Nifty December 2018 futures at premium
The Nifty December 2018 futures traded at 10908.95, a premium of 50.25 points from the Nifty's closing of 10858.70 in the cash market.
Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment was reported at Rs 18.84 lakh crore, higher than Rs 9.81 lakh crore reported in the previous trading session.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 129.85 points or 1.21% to settle at 10,858.70.
Yes Bank, ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Yes Bank December 2018 futures traded at 162, compared with spot closing price of 161.05. ICICI Bank December 2018 futures traded at 362, compared with spot closing price of 362.20. HDFC Bank December 2018 futures traded at 2129, compared with spot closing price of 2132.25.
The December 2018 F&O contracts expire on 27 December 2018.
