Turnover increases
Nifty February 2015 futures were at 8,739, a premium of 27.30 points over spot closing of 8,711.70. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 208617.15 crore from Rs 172476.38 crore during the previous trading session on Wednesday, 4 February 2015.
ICICI Bank February 2015 futures were at 337.85, near spot closing of 335.15.
State Bank of India February 2015 futures were at 291.85, at a premium compared with spot closing of 290.50.
Axis Bank February 2015 futures were at 566.20, at a discount compared with spot closing of 568.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty, dropped 12 points or 0.14% to settle at 8,711.70, its lowest closing level since 20 January 2015.
The February 2015 derivatives contract expire on 26 February 2015.
