Nifty May 2013 futures were at 5915, at a premium of 10.90 points over spot closing of 5904.10. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 69157.55 crore from Rs 82110.36 crore on Friday, 26 April 2013.
Hindustan Unilever (HUL) May 2013 futures were at 501.60, at a premium over spot closing of 498.10.
Reliance Communications May 2013 futures were at 101.20, near spot closing of 100.35.
State Bank of India (SBI) May 2013 futures were at 2248.65, at a discount compared to spot closing of 2264.15.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty advanced 32.65 points or 0.56% to settle at 5,904.10, its highest closing level since 25 April 2013.
The May 2013 derivatives contracts expire on 30 May 2013.
