Nifty May futures at premium

The Nifty May 2018 futures traded at 10742.05, a premium of 26.55 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 10715.50 in the cash market.

Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment declined to Rs 3.69 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 3.67 lakh crore registered in the previous session.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 97.25 points or 0.92% to settle at 10,715.50.

ICICI Bank, Exide Industries, PC Jeweller, Reliance Industries and State Bank of India were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. ICICI Bank May 2018 futures traded at 293.15, at a premium over spot closing price of 293. Exide Industries May 2018 futures traded at 262.80, at a premium over spot closing price of 261.50.

PC Jeweller May 2018 futures traded at 243.50, at a premium over spot closing price of 242.15. Reliance Industries May 2018 futures traded at 976.95, at a premium over spot closing price of 971.90. State Bank of India May 2018 futures traded at 246.70, at a discount over spot closing price of 247.20.

The May 2018 F&O contracts expire on 31 May 2018.
