Nitta Gelatin India standalone net profit rises 75.66% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 1.15% to Rs 90.47 crore

Net profit of Nitta Gelatin India rose 75.66% to Rs 3.97 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 2.26 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 1.15% to Rs 90.47 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 91.52 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 227.25% to Rs 16.69 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 5.10 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 0.52% to Rs 348.65 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 350.49 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
