Sales rise 9.38% to Rs 856.05 crore

Net profit of Birla Corporation rose 306.39% to Rs 115.66 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 28.46 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 9.38% to Rs 856.05 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 782.64 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 10.31% to Rs 157.35 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 175.44 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 2.32% to Rs 3225.24 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 3152.25 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
