Tata Coffee standalone net profit rises 82.80% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 12.64% to Rs 192.69 crore

Net profit of Tata Coffee rose 82.80% to Rs 44.53 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 24.36 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 12.64% to Rs 192.69 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 171.06 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 115.09% to Rs 139.23 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 64.73 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 9.99% to Rs 778.83 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 708.11 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
