Net profit of Vardhman Textiles rose 141.12% to Rs 217.49 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 90.20 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 1.27% to Rs 1389.93 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1407.79 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.For the full year,net profit rose 81.85% to Rs 653.05 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 359.11 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 2.70% to Rs 5587.14 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 5742.03 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
