A total of 78 suspected drug offenders were arrested during an island-wide anti-narcotics operation in Singapore, an official statement said on Friday.
According to the statement from the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB), a total of about 1 kg cannabis, 690 gm heroin, 131 gm of "Ice", as well as some other drugs including 905 Erimin-5 tablets, 76 Ecstasy tablets, ketamine and Gamma-Hydroxybutyric Acid (GHB) were seized.
The estimated street value of the seized drugs is over 109,000 Singapore dollars (about $81,340), Xinhua news agency cited CNB as saying.
The operation began on Monday and ended on Friday.
