The Telugu sleeper hit "Ala Ela", which is currently running in cinemas, will soon have a sequel with the same lead cast.
"We recently announced at the film's success meet that we plan to have a sequel, which will go on floors in June next year. The lead cast will be the same," the film's director Anish Krishna told IANS.
About the bromance of three friends played by Rahul Ravindran, Vennela Kishore and Shanni, "Ala Ela" turned out to be a hit through positive word-of-mouth.
The director hopes that the sequel meets a similar fate.
"Many people called me after the release of 'Ala Ela' and said they haven't laughed so much in a long time. The success has given us lot of confidence and we hope it continues with the sequel as well," he said.
