The "Dallas Buyers Club" actor Jared Leto, who has maintained long locks, may go for a haircut in the New Year. And it's presumably, in preparation for his role in "Suicide Squad".
The 42-year-old took to social media Wednesday to tell fans that he's ready to get a new look in 2015, reports aceshowbiz.com.
He uploaded an old photograph of him sporting short hair from a 2011 GQ Germany photo shoot, simply captioning the black-and-white photograph, "Haircut. #2015."
The rocker-turned-actor, who has been keeping his hair long since his appearance in "Dallas Buyers Club", has landed another role. He has been cast as Joker in the highly-anticipated "Suicide Squad".
Focusing on a group of DC comics villains who are sent to dangerous missions to redeem their past, the movie reportedly is going to start production in April 2015.
Apart from Leto, "Suicide Squad" boasts a cast including Will Smith (Deadshot), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Tom Hardy (Rick Flag), Jai Courtney (Boomerang) and Cara Delevingne (Enchantress).
Earlier, it was reported that "How to Get Away with Murder" star Viola Davis would be cast as Amanda Waller, a government agent who oversees the team.
