Asian Paints to set up Rs.1,750 crore plant in Andhra

Asian Paints Ltd. will set up a manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh with an investment of Rs.1,750 crore.

The facility will come up in Pudi in Visakhapatnam district. The plant, which will be completed in phases over a period of 12 years, is likely to provide employment to 700 people.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the company and the state government was signed here on Tuesday in the presence of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

The state government agreed to provide various concessions for the facility.
