Bajaj Finance's net profit up 43%

Bajaj Finance on Wednesday reported a surge of 42.57 per cent in its net profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 449.15 crore for the fourth quarter (Q4) of the 2016-17 fiscal ended March 31.

On a standalone basis, the company's net PAT for Q4 stood at Rs 449.15 crore as compared to Rs 315.04 crore reported during the corresponding quarter of last fiscal.

During the quarter under review, the company's total income from operations stood at Rs 2,665.02 crore -- up 39 per cent -- up from Rs 1,916.23 crore reported during the same period of 2015-16.
