Bharat Hari Singhania takes over as JK Organisation president

JK Organisation on Thursday said that Bharat Hari Singhania has taken over as the company's president, succeeding Gaur Hari Singhania, who passed away recently.

According to the company, Singhania, 76, has been guiding the affairs the JK Organisation for more than five decades.

Singhania is also the chairman of JK Paper, JK Lakshmi Cement and other group companies, besides being on the board of JK Tyres. He is also the chancellor of JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur.

The 125-year-old group has a footprint in 100 countries with interest in multiple businesses. It has overseas manufacturing operations in Mexico, Indonesia, Romania, Belgium, Portugal and the UAE.
