Eight-time Brazilian Serie A champions Palmeiras have signed Colombian under-23 international center-back Yerry Mina.
The 21-year-old will join the Sao Paulo outfit from Bogota-based Independiente Santa Fe on a five-year contract at the end of May, according to a Palmeiras statement on Sunday. No financial details were given, reports Xinhua.
Mina is the 11th new addition to Palmeiras' squad this year.
He impressed while playing for Santa Fe during this year's Copa Libertadores group phase, scoring three goals.
The 193cm Mina has been capped four times for Colombia's under-23 team and is expected to feature for the Cafeteros at the Olympic Games in August.
The Brazilian Serie A season begins on May 14.
