Costa Rica defeated Peru 3-2 in a friendly match, both the teams last match this year.
Jonathan McDonald, Allan Cruz and Joel Campbell led Costa Rica to victory with a goal each in a comeback win on Tuesday night.
Peru had opened the scoring in the 19th minute when Edison Flores struck in a left-footed volley at the near post, reports Efe news.
Costa Rica equalized shortly before half time when Jonathan McDonald's shot from the edge of the box bobbled past the Peru goalkeeper.
In the second half, Allan Cruz added a second for the visiting Costa Ricans with a header into the top corner after Matarrita had stood the ball up to the back post.
Peru levelled the score at 72 minutes through Jefferson Farfan's strike, but the visitors re-took the lead through Joel Campbell's penalty.
