Cristian Tello scored a hat-trick to help FC Porto beat Sporting Lisbon 3-0 in the 23rd round of the Portuguese league at the Dragon Stadium here.
Spanish forward Cristian Tello on Sunday opened the scoring in the 31st minute with a right-footed effort following a back-heel by Colombian forward Jackson Martinez, reports Xinhua.
The 23-year-old scored again in the 58th minute with another right-footed effort and assistance by Martinez. He closed the scoring in the 82nd following a pass by Mexican midfielder Hector Herrera.
FC Porto dominated the entire match, especially in the second-half, and remain second in the Portuguese league with 55 points, four behind leader FC Benfica.
Sporting stands third with 47 points after the game.
