Five people, including a woman, were killed in separate incidents of firing and violence that took place in different parts of Pakistan's port city of Karachi Wednesday, Geo News reported.
Unidentified gunmen in the city's Lyari area opened fire in a colony, killing a woman on the spot.
In another incident, a motorbike rider was killed when some unidentified people opened fire near a parking lot of the city's Saddar area. Two bodies were found in the city's Surjani town and Old city area, bearing bullet wounds.
A 27-year-old man, identified as Rehan, was also shot dead and one injured in Korangi 5 area by some gunmen.
