Five people were killed in a shooting spree at a home in Pennsylvania state, media reports said on Thursday.
The incident took place on Wednesday night in Wilkinsburg borough of Allegheny county, CNN reported.
Police got reports of the shooting around 11.00 p.m. about a house where there was some sort of cookout or "backyard party," senior police official Andrew Sherman said.
Authorities said there were two gunmen -- both on foot -- based on ballistic evidence.
First shots were fired from an alley behind the home into the backyard.
People then tried to run inside through the back door, when someone either on the side or adjacent to residence fired into the back porch.
The victims were four women and a man. Three other people were hospitalised. Two of them are in critical condition. One woman is in "stable condition", Sherman said.
No further details of the victims were given.
