Argentine footballer Angel di Maria will undergo a medical exam at French Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on Sunday ahead of a 44.5 million pound move to the club from Premier League giants Manchester United.
After missing out the midfielder last season, PSG were still in the hunt and are expected to land him in their team soon. The 27-year-old's agent had talks with PSG in July, reports goal.com.
Despite his poor showing in the first season for the 'Red Devils', the Argentine is still one of the deadliest wingers on display with lightning quick bursts of speed and precision with his passes.
He missed a planned flight to the United States on July 25. Even United manager Louis van Gaal said he was not sure about di Maria's whereabouts. He was even fined for not turning up and now is set to seal a deal with PSG following his medical at Qatar.
In their quest to fill the vacancy that will be left by the winger it is learnt that United will try and rope in Pedro Rodriguez from Spanish club Barcelona.
Di Maria made just 32 appearances in all competitions for United last season, scoring four goals and providing 12 assists.
