The funeral of eight children aged 18 months to 15 years, who were found stabbed to death at a house in Australia's Cairns city Dec 19, will be held in early January.
The service will be held Jan 10 in Cairns for the four girls and four boys who were found dead in a house in the city, the Cairns Post reported Monday.
A community spokeswoman said details of the service are yet to be revealed.
The mother of seven of the eight murdered children, Raina Mersane Ina Thaiday, has been charged with their murders.
She is due to appear in court in early 2015.
Floral tributes continue to be laid at the park beside the house, although the majority were removed on Boxing Day.
The home where they were found stabbed to death will be demolished and a memorial erected.
