Czech international midfielder Vladimir Darida has joined Bundesliga team Freiburg with immediate effect, the club announced on its official homepage Thursday.
Vladimir Darida played three years for Viktoria Plzen to score nine goals in 55 matches. He was also included in the Czech national football team where he scored three goals in 15 caps, reports Xinhua.
"With Vladimir Dardia we signed a variable midfielder, who can play on different positions with a good tactical sense. We are delighted that he opted for Freiburg, despite more numerous opportunities, to put pen to paper on a long term contract," Freiburg sports director Klemens Hartenbach told the clubs official homepage.
Freiburg's stunning performances last season, saw many key players poached by top-flight clubs.
Both sides agreed to maintain silence over further contract details.
