Indonesia confident of group survival at Thomas, Uber Cups
The Indonesian badminton association is optimistic that the country's shuttlers will pass group qualification in Thomas Cup and Uber Cup this year.
Association official Susy Susanti made the statement ahead of badminton tournaments scheduled to be played in Bangkok from May 20 to 27, reports Xinhua news agency.
For the Thomas Cup, Indonesia shares a group with South Korea, Canada and host Thailand, according to the association. For the Uber Cup, Indonesia is in a group with China, Malaysia and France.
