Israel will set up two industrial centres of excellence in Madhya Pradesh, Israel's Ambassador to India Daniel Carmon said on Thursday.
Carmon met Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and said the two sides could collaborate in the fields of agriculture, water conservation, irrigation etc.
The Ambassador said his country was setting up such centres of excellence in various states, including two proposed to be set up in Sehore and Shajapur districts of Madhya Pradesh.
Chouhan said Jabalpur and Gawalior were appropriate places for setting up defence production units, in case Israel desired to cooperate with the state in the sector.
