Italy, Russia win gold in World Fencing

Italy took the gold in the women's team foil while Russia won the men's team saber at the World Fencing Championships here.

In the women's team foil, Italy beat France 45-18 in the final with Russia finishing third beating South Korea 45-38 Saturday, reports Xinhua.

In the men's team saber, Russia beat Romania 45-38 for the gold while South Korea defeated Belarus 45-31 for the bronze.

Italy's Arianna Errigo won the second gold as she triumphed in the individual foil. Russia's Veniamin Reshetnikov also takes home two gold medals with his victory in the individual saber.
