Juvenile rapes married woman

A 17-year-old boy raped a married neighbour and, in a separate incident, another juvenile boy sexually assaulted a minor girl who lived close to his house here, police said Wednesday.

The 17-year-old boy raped a 19-year-old married woman in his home in Ranhaula area in west Delhi Tuesday afternoon, police said.

"The accused lured the woman to his home and raped her. He also threatened her of dire consequences if she told anybody about the incident," said a police officer.

The woman told her husband about the incident who filed a complaint, police said. The young attacker in now on the run.

In the other incident, a 14-year-old boy raped an eight-year-old girl at her home in Begumpur area in west Delhi Tuesday evening. The child was alone when the boy, a neighbour, barged in and assaulted her, police said.

The girl's parents filed a complaint and the boy was detained after a medical check-up confirmed rape, police said.
