Koda aide Bastawade sent to 14 days' judicial custody
A Ranchi court sent Bastawade, arrested in Jakarta Jan 21 on an Interpol notice, to 14 days judicial custody in a money-laundering case.
He was brought to New Delhi from Jakarta Tuesday and taken to Ranchi Wednesday.
Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials said they will soon seek Bastawade's remand for interrogation.
The multi-million rupee money-laundering scandal involving Koda surfaced in 2009. Koda is in jail for more than three years in graft cases.
