The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday declared a reward of Rs.39 lakh for anyone providing information about six terrorist having links to the attack on a BSF convoy in Jammu and Kasmir's Udhampur.

An NIA statement said Pakistan-based Abu Dujana (Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist), along with two Jammu and Kashmir residents Adil Sher Gujri alias Abu Baqar (LeT) and Moin Kachroo alias Altaf Dar alias Kachroo (Hijbul Mujahideen) have a bounty of Rs.8 lakh each on their heads.

However, three other Jammu and Kashmir-based LeT terrorists -- Majid Zargar alias Talha, Manzoor Ahmed Bhat alias Fahadullah and Ashiq Hussain Bhat alias Obiada -- have a bounty of Rs.5 lakh each.

An NIA official, on the condition of anonymity, told IANS that all the six wanted terrorists were the accomplices of a self-styled commander of LeT in Kashmir Abdul Rehman alias Qasim, a resident of Bhawalpur in Pakistan, and Mohammad Naveed alias Usman, a Pakistani LeT terrorist who was caught alive in the terror attack on Border Security Force convoy in which two of its personnel were killed on August 5.

"Any person from public, who gives any reliable information about the whereabouts of these terrorists, leading to their arrest will be rewarded," the statement said.

It also assured that the identity of the informer will be kept secret.
