The authorities in Jammu and Kashmir denied that there was any ceasefire violation by Pakistan along the international border on Monday as reported by a section of the media.
"Firing practice by BSF troops near the Budwar Border outpost today (Monday) morning created media panic as news reports were flashed that a ceasefire violation had taken place," a police officer told IANS here.
"There no confirmation that such a violation of the bilateral ceasefire took place today," the officer added.
