North Korea leader orders army to enter state of war

The top leader of North Korea, Kim Jong Un has ordered the country's army to enter state of war from 5 p.m. (14.00 IST) on Friday, a media report said.

Kim made the order at an emergency meeting of the central military commission of the ruling Workers' Party of Korea, Xinhua reported on Friday, citing KCNA news agency.

He ordered the forces to be well-armed to cope with any possible operations at any time.
